1. Start simple, first ten tweets should be about you introducing yourself and your business. Examples are: Tweet about how you open your business, tweet about what clients love about your business (don’t say my clients love my pizza, instead tweet one of my clients ordered 25pizzas at 6PM the busiest time of our restaurant and wanted them done in an hour,  we actually did it and I didn’t think it was possible!  tweet about someone famous(even just a famous local guy) . I hope you get the point and that is don’t tweet to directly promote your business because everyone is doing that and is boring! Tweet interesting things and promote it indirectly through writing a little story of what happened at your business today that could be beneficiary  to you.

2. Another great way to get new followers and keep your followers is by writing articles. Write articles of the field (make sure you include a link to your website and your twitter account in your articles!)you are in then go ahead and Submit your article to a Directory, let your Twitter followers know you wrote an article and it has been submitted to a Directory and it should be out soon. Include the title in your tweet, and let them know when you think the article will be out by. This continues to build anticipation.

3.Now go and Set up your account at EzineArticles, create new articles and publish them  as “auto-tweeted”  ”to be and announced on Twitter”, include the title and the link. Tweets will be done for you automatically from EzineArticles, this will generate interest at Twitter.com and also all over the web.

4. Now that your Twitter account is established its time to get automated. We are going to use 2 FREE tools for this:
